The information in this article has been compiled through February 19, 2011 and may or may not be 100% complete but should give you an idea of the home market in Charlotte NC.

For 2010, a total of 6588 homes were sold, of which 791 were new constuction. The average sales price was $220,352.00.

For 2009, a total of 6760 homes were sold, of which 724 were new constuction. The average sales price was $205,339.00.

For 2008, a total of 8281 homes were sold, of which 1150 were new constuction. The average sales price was $233,905.00.

For 2007, a total of 12444 homes were sold, of which 1975 were new constuction. The average sales price was $244,561.00.
