Brownfields are properties that have lost value because of real or perceived environmental contamination. Oklahoma City has seen the transformation of many brownfields properties, including the Bricktown Canal, the Dell Center and the Skirvin Hilton Hotel itself, all of which have been recognized nationally as examples of brownfields success stories.
